Established in 1999, Steve Wheeler Productions, Inc is a collaboration of some of the most creative designers, directors, artists, composers, engineers and technicians in the entertainment field today.

This innovative team draws upon their vast experience with the top entertainment productions in the world including David Copperfield, Cirque Du Soleil, Madonna and Walt Disney Company, to create awe inspiring shows and one-of-a- kind theatrical productions around the globe.

1999: LAS VEGAS, LOS ANGELES & TOKYO

In the first year of operations, Wheeler Productions Inc. created original productions for Six Flags Magic Mountain in Los Angeles; Disney Ikspiari in Tokyo, Japan as well as staging spectacular illusions for the opening ceremonies of the National Hockey League season and the stunning “EFX” at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

2000-2001: NETWORK TELEVISION

Wheeler’s TV Special, “Starskates Magic” aired on NBC in 2000 and featured Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi. The success of this internationally broadcast event prompted sell out performances of the live show “Magic On Ice” at the Genting Highlands Resort Hotel & Casino in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2002: MGM MIRAGE

Expanding operations in 2002, Wheeler Productions debuted a new production for the MGM Mirage resort, Beau Rivage on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi in the US. Appearing in the beautiful 1600 seat Beau Rivage Theater, Magic On Ice received overwhelming critical acclaim.

2003-2004: ASIA

Magic On Ice traveled to Seoul, Korea in 2003 for a one year engagement at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel Casino and a KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) network TV special.

That same year it was announced that “Magic On Ice” would make the Sandcastle Theater on the tropical island of Guam, USA their new home immediately following the Korean engagement.

2004-2008: SOUTH PACIFIC WHITE TIGERS

A brand new edition of “Magic On Ice”, was conceived and presented in 2004 at the $32 million dollar Sandcastle Theater in the vacation paradise of Guam. The theater boasts Italian marble floors, exquisite hand-cut crystal chandeliers and a lush showroom. The new production featured exotic white tigers, and thrilling special effects, including an expanded ice surface. Due to the astounding success of the show, “Magic On Ice” was extended at the Sandcastle for four years; until the summer of 2008.

2008-2009: EUROPE

In October “Magic On Ice” premiered on the largest theatrical stage in Europe, the Friedrichstadtpalast theater in Berlin, Germany. The new show, “Qi” featured a cast of over 100 artists, dancers, aerialists, singers, a 30 piece live orchestra and the world’s largest moving ice surface.

2009: MIDDLE EAST

A new “Magic On Ice”, arena production premiered in the capital city of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on August 1, 2009.
